Webbed Cracks

So this morning I accidentally dropped my iPhone. I learnt something(those 10 feet no damage YouTube drop videos are lies). It fell from pocket height(was listening to music, mix up with the ear pod cable caused the accident). Let front top of the glass smashed and it was webbed all over(everything was working, the glass was the problem). Since time was 7:05 AM I had to wait for iStore opening time(9:00 AM). After 3 hours of waiting I was told:
* Apple doesn't ship its hardware internationally.
* Therefore return the current phone
* Get a new one
* discounted price
So I asked how much is this discount, I was told it depends, then I asked how long will this take, the gentleman told me about 7 business days. I rejected the "discount" offer and went to my service provider who sent me to weFix. They costed me $250, 2 hours during all that I lost a warranty of 2 years because weFix is a "third party". At least weFix gave me a full year warranty on their fix. I am just disgusted by this monopoly of forcing us to buy new iPhones indirectly. It is a cowardly and a shameful method of milking us.
