Appendectomy recovery

I had my appendix removed a couple of days ago and I have pain in my neck, stomach, back and chest. The doctor said the pain in my neck and chest should go away after 24 hours but it's still there and it's getting worse.

Should I be worried or is this normal? I'm going to end up going doctors anyway but have any of you guys/girls had the same symptoms or is it just me? And I have an extreme sore throat and it's swollen a lot, normal?

Yeah, I tried all other types of sites. The only replies I got were "Take pain relief", "See a doctor" and all those BS replies.
