it was a very strange/weird movie but i liked it.

you don't see marlon brando until around the end of the film, but he ends up stealing the show :)

it deals with the Vietnam war and the human psychology. the horror, the horror.

The film based on Heart of Darkness right?

Yeah Brando was playing Kurtz I imagine, who only shows up at the end...must watch it sometime.

it was but it doesn't follow the book 100%

I see, just like- the concept i'm guessing?

Also wasn't this the one where one of the main actors was actually drunk in most of the scenes? Man i've heard so much about this film but never actually watched it. I'm a film student so i'd definitely love it but tonights movies are that awful Bill Murray Garfield movie and Hunger Games Catching Fire aha :')

West Side Story! I'd recommend Chinatown next. That film has such good pay-off and has a LOT to it.

i'll watch east of Eden, Chinatown , and 12 Angry Men next
