AOTW price distribution

but somehow there was no reply from the admins so im making it in here to please answer the query...

I'll mention the query once again that "is it possible for the mods to think again on the aotw prices given to the 2nd and 3rd place are actually not very interested. Having these prices, contestant feel like either get a 1st position...or nothing, because it hurts more when you get a price and there's no point of using it.

The user change and kumi are basically not very useful to the contestants as i observed from the discussion. so i was suggesting if you mods can either add or change the awards given to the 2nd and 3rd place so that more people are interested in taking part in the contest.

Before there used to be awards for 2nd and 3rd too but then there were not many contestant participating but now there are so many contestants and album making now is becoming so difficult that its hardly possible to create a quality album.

so please mods, many have advised and are wishing that the awards are changed because the 2nd and 3rd position winners deserve something reasonable aswell.."

I agree with you, and I would like to add something to your suggestion as well, as we have seen the AoTW medal is the only medal among the rest that holds no resemblance to the actual contest.

Agree with both posts above...
The prizes could be more interesting (i admit that the prize isn't the reason i'm participating but it still would be nice to get something that stimulates you to win). And if it's not much of a hassle the user could have a choice (so they don't actually get too much) between let's say the username change and whatever you mods want. (Kumi, medal, colored username)

Like Nocturne said, besides first place the others don't really have an interesting prize and some might think like this: "I doubt i'll win first place and the others aren't worth the bother. I know it is a weekly contest so you have 4 chances within a month unlike some other contest (Profile of the Month for example) but even so.

Oh and about what Dakrazyebi said i agree with that too. It would be nice to have a more representative medal, one that kinda has something to do with the contest... it's called Album of the Week... what does a smiley face got to do with that?

Since the contest is held every week, and pretty much same people participate every week. Considering that, the prizes are pretty good.
