No -_-, people would just copy paste jokes from the internet. That's not even worth making a contest for.

I still see no reason why we should make a contest out of it =/

I mean you should be rewarded because you post some jokes that took you 5 minutes to find on a site where you have 10 000 jokes? Not to mention who's going to organize that contest? All the mods already have enough work or are not interested in it. Of course it is allowed to let a member organize a contest and he can ask for medals to the mods for the winners. However most of the player-organized contests were never really successful and as I said I don't find that people should be rewarded for something like that.

In all the other contests you need to show talent in something: drawing, making sigs, making profiles etc even in the album of the week you really need to be original to get a nice set of pictures, but jokes are completely one sided. Not to mention that we can't allow racist or insulting jokes.

What could I possibly not understand? If the jokes are horrible or to die for, it stays the same The funny-factor you mentioned is completely irrelevant
