Hi everyone. I've been reading a lot of posts regarding Attack on Titan(Shingeki no Kyojin). I'm on summer vacation right now(I leave on the south hemisphere) and it would be nice to give it a shot.

So, I ask you two things:

Is AoT really worth watching and reading? If you could say why it is good, I'd like it, but only if possible.

Is the AoT anime canon?

EDIT: Oh yeah, I don't really mind spoilers, but it would be good to avoid posting them. I wanna be surprised.

Its one of the better anime, and the animation is top-notch. The story is ok but its mainly for the action.

Watch it if you have the time.

You should've vm'd people like Punk.. there are people who will spoil it for you if you indeed watch it.
Anyways yes you should watch it imo the anime is for the most part is canon but there is an episode that wasn't if I remember correctly and there added scenes/different scenes that separate it from the manga.

Yeah, it's canon, I've only watched 12 episodes tho, so I can't say if they're any fillers after those episodes, and the 12 episodes I've watched are stunning, with great animation and some intense scenes, it's really great, the anime. I wholeheartedly recommend it. If you're interested in the concept about survival, suspense, horror (kinda) and a vivid amount of gore and action, then sure, the story is pretty straight forward, concerning the events about a superior form of species, known as the titans who eat human for the heck of it, so the remaining humans enclose themselves within a wall, when suddenly a Titan manages to breach it and the story starts from there, not basically a spoiler, just a prologue to the story. You can watch or read some chaps/episodes and see for yourself, if it's your cup of tea, then enjoy.

YES! Totally. Animation and soundtrack are great, the story is very interesting and catchy. But don't enter the AoT section here before you have finished the anime at least, because it's full of spoilers. U_U

I think it's great. Full of action in almost every episode, and stays relatively close to the manga. It will keep you pumped up to watch the next episode every single time. =D

AOT is definitely not for everyone , you should give it a try if it appeals to you , don't let your judgment be clouded my child ! specially here in Naruto Biased, one episode was enough to hook me , but with everyone is different . Yes the anime is cannon only episodes 23-24 have fillers I believe & if you decide to read the manga after , start from chapter 33 .

In all seriousness tho , yes is worth watching one of my favorite series of all time .​

aot anime? yes it is cannon and for me yes it is worth watching but i dont know if you will like it because everyone has different opinion on things maybe you will like it or maybe will dislike it
