[Spoilers] AoT: Hannes-San Chapter 50

First off... it sucks that he died.


But as I read through the chapter... I felt his death seems to be something that doesn't make sense in terms of positioning and such.


1. First, Hannes begins his attack moving to the Smile Titan's left (he moves to the right).

2. Yet in virtually the very next page he is somehow on the Smile Titan's right (his position has completely switched to one attacking from to his left).

3. The page after that shows him once again attacking on the right, but now he's further back than he was on the very first page.

4. Despite the panels showing the Smile Titan's right arm being the optimal hand for catching Hannes (refer to point 2), he's suddenly caught and killed while in it's left hand <(-_-<)

Honestly when Hannes moved on the right, and the Titan was in no position to move.... I was shocked. I though he was about to just wreck the Smile Titan. Then all the sudden his position began switching like crazy... and well he ended up getting Munchlaxed. Most of expected Hannes to die, but did anyone else have a bit of a problem with the way it happened... not getting killed by a Titan eating him, but simply the fact that he went from surprisingly having an almost perfect positioning on it to suddenly being caught by a hand that shouldn't catch him.

Just wondering what other people would think!

Hannes had to make things right this time around ,he stood up against the Mom Titan & tried to protect/save ErenXMikasa i knew we wasn't strong enough for the job , but Hannes did good , he died protecting two kids he care about u_u #Respect.

I just really liked him lol!!! And this is more of looking at something that doesn't make sense the way it was drawn. Everything you said is EXACTLY how I feel about the action... I just think it wasn't drawn the best due to how the pages show him almost warping his position UnU!

I think is just showing it as part of the action & movements Hannes was making to avoid the Titan until he got caught IMO. & you can tell he was still scared .

IDK... I think it is because the jumping of scenes made me feel like everything is happening in a very short amount of time (to where Haness wouldn't have time to have a somewhat drawn out battle). I thought he was either going to get caught standing over them, or he was going to get caught immediately charging it. Since he kind of got caught going forward... I just felt that it was poorly drawn... I mean better than what I'd ever do.. just inconsistent.

I thought he was going to die... but when the first panel showed him making actual progress I was genuinely surprised... thought he would pull it off... NOPE :dead:.
