Zone kagami = Zone Aomine
Kagami had to go zone just to keep BASE Akashi in check.
Zone Akashi was playing offence and Defence against the entire Seirin team.
Now before you go on and say the typical stuff like "oh Aomine is too quick and agile" realize that he was outpacing Zone Kagami, he kept up with him and he actually blitzed Kagami who was on par with Zone Aomines speed.
Akashi wins no debate.
BUT If Aomine decides to train he will be the best imo. As of the end of the manga Aomine is closer to Bara than he is Akashi.
This is coming from the biggest Aomine fan.
