Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were masters in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu.

they were feared as "the clan with a thousand skills" (「千の手を持つ一族」, "sen no te o motsu ichizoku"), which gave them their name Senju (千手, "a thousand skills", "a thousand hands").

The term 'Senju' means 'a thousand skills' and they were known as 'the clan with the thousand skills' (Check wikia) . . . so instead of focusing on one talent they tended to master multiple skills. For example Toka senju was world famous for genjutsu, Tobirama knew S/T, sensing, water style, yang release (Edo deals with life after all) etc

So the senju clan was not good at something specifically, they had multiple talents.
