Hello guys, I know this is the wrong section, but it wouldn't let me post in general discussion, sorry for the inconvenience, mods feel free to move this to general discussion.

Anyways hey guys I'm just looking for opinions from people who actually know about bodybuilding, and powerlifting and such. The picture in my avatar is from when I was 17. It was my last shirtless picture from before I broke my arm. I broke my left forearm in my last football game. One bone was broke in half and disconnected, the other one was completely shattered. I had surgery, a plate was put in each bone. Each okay has six screws and is longer than half my arm lol. The way the screw went in my bine that shattered though, it made a gap, so its taking a long time to heal, 5 months now. The other bone is healed. I weighed 215 and now I weigh 175. I gained more fat than I had before so I've lost over 40 lbs of muscle. They gave me an ultra sound bine healing system and said I should be able to work out at may 5th than that will be 6 months without lifting.

To be a professional body builder is my dream, or powerlifter or hell even strong man.

I had only worked out for 2 years before that, and I didn't know too much of what I was doing(I've learned so much more now, doing nothing but studying since I can't lift) I know basically everything there is to know now.

My bench max was 340
Squat was 365
Deadlift was 495

And I've never done illegal drugs. Imagine how strong and how much I'd weigh now if I had never broke my arm, especially if I did use illegal drugs(I'm debating on it)

But basically from my progress do you think I could bs a pro bodybuilder? Or powerlifter?strongman?

I mean if that's what you wanna do then do it. I've cycled and I've done t boosters. You get results but honestly I don't like them. The mood swings suck. You get angry as shit over nothing. Kinda takes the fun out of the gym. Instead of being excited when you max you end up wanting to fight the dude whose taking all ****ing day on the rack. Heal up. Go slow when you go back to lifting. I have to get surgery on my wrist now because I broke it and never stopped lifting. Ain't worth it bro as annoying as it is.

What a mystery

I wouldn't advice you to ask questions like this on manga/anime website. There are bodybuilding websites you can use to communicate your question with people who actually know about weight lifting. And you can also ask people who work at gyms for guidance regarding stuff like this.

Anyway; powerlifting might be your think from what I interpreted reading your story. Just by looking at your scores, I reckon you fit better in powerlifting. You might also fit as strongman, but you only seem to care about the maximum weight. But I would advice you to get on a strict die to get a lot bigger than you currently are.

I would suggest to ask the gym advisers for this.

I personally raise my weight limit with 2.50kg every week. Eat well, rest well, lazy for cardio? Compensate with squatting and boxing

I'm no body builder, but this came to mind. Pretty sure Bruce Lee dislodged his vertebrae during something and was hospital ridden for some time. Didn't stop him from being the best.

I don't know if this will help or if anyone has suggested it, I myself am not into body building and know nothing about it but I have heard that Triple H's book on the subject is excellent, it might help.

I'm sure you know this but rest days are the key. I used to overwork my arms but if you do bi's and tri's only once or twice a week real hard then your gains are better
