Watched the normal fate stay .. And now i am watching fate stay night UB 2

Yeah .. UB is so damn beautiful to look at it's flawless i watch the episodes mainly for the godly animation and art the sounds are also amazing on top of all that dope-ness it has no plot holes and no character gets nerfed and un-expected plot twists all the way and and and urgh i ran out of words...

It's one of the best anime out there , you are missing much if you did't watch yet!

Dislike Fate/Stay Night's (both the old ones and new UBW one are pretty bad) adaption.

- cuts out characterization (ex. Shirou is a sociopath in the VN and his whole hero complex has a different reasoning than Survior's Guilt)
- alters personality traits (ex. Shirou is snarky, calculating and trolls Rin a lot in VN, and Rin is too Tsundere-ish in the anime)
- cuts out backstories (ex. Caster)
- upped fanservice (Saber in a white dress is a relevant point for Caster's characterization that was cut out so it seemed like simple fanservice)
- cuts out explanations on terms and abilities
- etc.

Fate/Zero has a decent anime adaption. Fate/Stay Night's Visual Novel is, however, amazing - by far the best entry in the franchise.

Adaption is fine if you're in for the animation. Just doesn't offer you characterization, symbolism, themes, parallels, etc. like the VN does.

Lol UBW is arguably the worst FSN route, can never decide which was worse UBW or HF, Fate route is the best one, but of course the original FSN tried doing that route and completely and utterly ****ed it up badly.

Fate Zero is extremely good, and is much better than FSN imo, coming up after FSN should be FHA which is.....different.

The ones from the other universes besides the Stay Night one are probably better unfortunately.

It's not even closely the worst route so it's not arguable at all. Fate is by far the worst written route (still a great route though, it's just that HF and UBW offer so much more) which is accepted by literally everyone. SN's writting is also levels above Zero. In fact, Zero's writting depends on a huge level on Stay Night in terms of thematical message and depth given to it's characters.
