Anyone think Kimimaro deserved more screentime/Background?

Honestly I think Kimimaro is a great character who could have been expanded upon so much more. He's lacking a good background story and screentime I think in the anime/manga...

His kekkei genkai is so powerful and his skill is unbelievable. He was killed to PNJ both times so what do you guys think? Solely opinion based comments here.

I believe this, he should have survived. Him and the entire sound five. They were interesting and it would have been cool if they were used against the Akatsuki after the time skip.

I Luv Kimimaro , but his story / backstory was kinda finished.. <_<

his childhood was like Haku sort of.. he was imprisoned.. Orochimaru saved him.. his clan was slaughtered..
he lived to serve Orochimaru.. He was admired by Jugo.. He admired Kabuto.. killed Kazekage in a plot..
leader of sound 5.. infected by illness.. tried to bring back Orochimaru's new vessel.. almost killed future kazekage.. died..
he also went toe to toe with the 1tail / 9tails jinchuriki..
he died / lived kinda like Itachi & Neji..

So thinking along the lines of Zetsu abducting him and having the Akatsuki preserve his health and make him into their own biologically altered weapon? Well personally I think it was a good showcase of how Orochimaru manipulates his pawns to the very end but I agree he had potential. I agree with Genetics about the whole Jugo thing I was sure they would at least meet.... >_<

I agree, was taking on gaara and rock lee's Drunken Fist, his tai jutsu and speed is damn impressive...Kimimaro=boss
