jus finished watchin the marineford war arc again and was wondering is anyone else still extremely pissed that they killed off ace he was in my top 3 fave characters and i staill cant get over it

Its disappointing, but its a good thing he did die because too many anime have it where the main character has to go somewhere, rescue their friend/sibling, then leave. At least here, it was different. It was a WAR after all. Where in Naruto, nobody important has died, where in OP, two important characters died. (Three if you count Oars)

Its one of those things where you wish he was still alive, but you understand and accept why he died. Its like when Jiraiya died, it helped progress the main character's character in a way that couldn't be done otherwise.

In Naruto, Jiraiya and Asuma died, Sarutobi died, chiyo and Minato before the show so that doesn't count. It's not in the war but a lot more people die in Naruto than we realize.
