Okay. I just read the newest chapter of Naruto. I must ask my fellow Naruto fans a question. Are you all content that Sasuke has joined up with Team 7 again? I honestly have no idea what to think. They're finally back together, but that one battle we were waiting for might not happen. I like how the plot has been turned into a pretzel. twisted up like that. Plot twists. They're so awesome. I'm speechless. I don't know what I wanted to happen.

What about you guys?

The battle will still happen... except now it will be a battle between Naruto and Sasuke for the title of Hokage.

I hoped he joined Madara and Obito and while fighting he should recognize that Naruto really wants to help him and then:

The Hokage battle was already won by Naruto when he killed Pain and became a hero.

I'm extremely satisfied, we get the new version of the legendary sannin basically, finally we can see Sakuras "full power" so people will get off her case and quit calling her a filler, and Naruto v Sasuke for Hokage is great. Part of me can see Naruto giving up Hokage just so he can have sasuke back in the village, even if the others don't agree with it. Or, if naruto doesn't agree, they can duke it out for it. This chapter really really sparked my interested in whats to come. IF ONLY we didn't have to wait so much lol. after these past few chapters were just meh, I feel like whats coming is about to be flat out amazing.

They'll fight, but I don't really understand why. I mean, even if Sasuke wins, there's no way in hell I'd vote for him if I was a Jounin. I doubt the Fire Daimyo would nominate him either. Ditto for the Elder Council.

Naruto, on the other hand has everything going for him. The village (and the world, now) views him as a hero. He's probably going to end up officially being called the Saviour Of This World after the war. Most of the villagers know how far he's come since being the "demon brat", so they'll probably vote for him. Plus, son of Fourth.
