Anyone realize gaara could have easily defeated Sasuke and Lee?

All he had to do was spread sand in the air. All that fancy taijutsu wouldn’t have mattered if they can’t see.

Sasuke is blind



Proceed to defeat them while they struggle with fine grains of sand in their eyes.

Hell it's not even that difficult all he had to do was create a tsunami of saying hide under the sand and simply drag them to the death but you know plot has away

From what I understand CE Gaara couldn't manipulate laarge amounts of sand. With the amount of sand he carried on him. He would not have been able to cover the exam area with enough sand to blind anybody

The exam area isn’t that big and he didn’t have to use a lot. Just cQC range. Sasuke has one long range tech and Lee is exclusively cqc.

And he can control as much that’s in his gourd which is a decently large amount.

Yea, he also got him with that last chidori, but he didn’t beat him, although sasuke over did it and then naruto stepped in so I guess it didn’t really finish. I don’t really know what ce sasuke would of had for shukaku though

i think SM naruto could fight with his eyes closed, i mean he was able to sense everyones presence at the start of the pain fight. and then was able to feel intent in charka cloak mode agianst kisame.

i think sound would give away garra or even obitos goggles.

I think at that point he was sleeping wasn’t he? Then the chidori hitting him woke him up too early.

I think the sand was automatically trying to stop Sasuke. I really don’t remember the CE fight so I’m gonna go reread it real quick.

I think the point is Gaara didn’t exactly have control over his powers at the time. Perfect Jinchuriki Gaara could’ve slaughtered Lee and Sasuke.

Why would he spread it over that wide area?

Throw sand up so when he gets close it gets in his eyes.

He could easily spread sand in the air like he did during the exams. You obviously never got sand in your eyes before. You can’t fight like that.

It's not as if manipluatin sand is chakra free.
