My two favorite books of all time, No Country For Old Men and Blood Meridian are both written by him. His style takes a bit of adjusting to get used to but no author in my opinion writes with as much gritty realism as he does. Down to the mannerisms of characters and environments alike and his use of imagery is unparalleled in modern writing. His books are usually rather violent too which is always entertaining. Anyways if you havent already, i suggest giving those two a try. The Road isnt bad either, won a pulitzer prize but i was never too into that one and BM is considered his masterpiece
