Anyone one else really liking this Kakashi filler arc?

I really like naruto and all, but I wouldn't be at all sad if we just switched to this Kakashi story line (of course slowed down). Kakashi's character is a really rounded out one.

My only major complaints are...
-slow it down a bit (not too much of course). After this weeks chapter though, I'm fine with the Kakashi filler lasting a bit longer.

-The animation for the action scenes need more work. When kakashi is taking down the enemies that attack the outpost (I think Minato's death episode), little to no detail is shown when they're killed. Not sloppy animation like Kyubbi versus Yahiko Pein, but just not much in terms of detail. Kakashi versus Yamato w/ Mokuton was pretty cool though. =D


What do you guys think?

I like it as well, it's quite good, and provides much background. Even though I generally don't watch fillers, I'll give this one a try.

I just hate these rin memories and shit. Like wtf. It would be better if it were itachi. Showing how he graduated from the academy early. Also, showing how he became a chunin and got his ms. His story would be better imo.

Minato can take on a full village of fodders if he wanted too. Im surprised they didn't win the war in one day. :|

I'd personally like to see Itachi have his own.

I think the reason it focuses so much on Kakashi is because he's one of the most important people in the fight against Obito (who is the main enemy atm in the Anime). With Itachi being gone now, he's a bit irrelevant, and so there's no real reason to add growth to his character (I'd still like to see an arc for him though).

The rin scenes represent such a tramatic event, so it only makes sense we see flashbacks to it happening often (they barely even take up screen time), especially when this arc if about Kakashi's development.

i really hope to see a spin off series showing all of itachis life...that would be awesome^^

This is named "Kakashi ANBU hen" for a reason. Just because other characters were said to appear doesn't mean they were going to have much screen time.

Well, Kakashi was never a pushover. Even in canon, once he got his 2T Sharingan he roflstomped a mid jonin in a single hit. It's no wonder 3T young Kakashi stomps pretty much everyone as he does in these episodes.
Part 1 Kakashi was obviously stronger, it's just that we didn't get to see him much, as he had only two major fights, one of which against Itachi.
