He had to find a way to make Naruto ideal's seem realistic (peace through love and understanding) - in a Ninja World - since he already stated Hashirama's Ninja system was a failure.

I think Sasuke realized that if no one came to their rescue, Naruto would heal up faster due to Kurama's chakra, which he saw happening first hand after he stabbed Naruto with a Chidori in the chest and healed from it immediately. But that would take a while to work considering Kurama was asleep.

After having a conversation with the 4 Hokages, He really had no reason to go through with this "revolution" plan. Like who is he doing it for? Who is he going home to at the end of the day? Kishi couldn't find no other way to get them to fight each other.

You can easily tell it was "plot-no-jutsu" because when he left the village, he said something been bothering him(kaguya building an army). You mean to tell me he was gonna be the shinobi world's darkness and investgate kaguya's army all by himself?

Sasuke's character development got F-ed over after itachi's death. He spent 3 years training and learning the "art of patience" before going after itachi. He avoid killing anybody that have nothing to do with him. Now after Itachi's death, he wanna be reckless, emotional and killl left and right.

But this is naruto manga. If Sasuke still had the same "hebi sasuke" mind set after itachi's death, Naruto would have to get smarter and realistic with himself to fight him. But that would destory the meaning of Naruto's character.
