Anyone miss "Tobi" ?

I miss his goofy personality. Some of the filler scenes with tobi in it were quite funny (during the guren arc for example). "Ichibi, nibi...boku wa tobi!" (This still gets me to this day for some reason ^^).

Then, when he was revealed to have a serious side, I also liked that.

I do like obito too (yup I said it, problem?).

Tobi was the best villain in naruto's history...
The way he presented his ideologies and his confidence made him seem invincible.... just like how minato was before resurrection...
guess i loved that...

Hell yeah. I still wish Tobi would have been Izuna. The plot would have been much different, and Kishi could also have done something special with Obito as well.

Deep down inside my heart, I still believe Tobi is Izuna.

Yes, I miss him too. He was good comic relief. I enjoyed his scenes with Deidera who was always threatening to hurt him.

The mystery had to be solved at some point. Obito's identity wasn't a bad twist, but Obito was not written very well between his unmasking and his redemption; he became way too preachy, and the "ideological conflict" between him and Naruto was way too heavy-handed.

Personally, I agree with this. I didn't have a problem with him being Obito but right after his unmasking he lost his badass Tobi personality (cunning, manipulative, cruel, and intimidating) and instead sat around arguing with Naruto about their ideals. Really, that's all he started spewing, is just the same ideal and "Rin Rin Rin" over and over again.
I really liked Tobi before he was unmasked, probably one of my top 3 favorite villains. But after his unmasking his dialogues and actions became weak.
