No one misses high school. During those 4 years is when the reality that you don't want to be there but are literally forced to set in. That school preaches for you to become independent and learn who you are and what you want to do, while forcing you to take classes that will likely never apply to you in life. Teachers may be cool, but will likely be forgotten. 90% of the friends, no matter how close, that you make in high school will slowly but surely drift out of your life once its over.
The only thing people miss about high school that they all misinterpret about "missing high school" is the fact that in the last 2 years of high school are when you are in that awesome limbo between "carefree" and "responsibilities". You will have the option to take on responsibilities such as having a job, and a relationship, but also have the safety net of being a teenager and [most likely] living with your parents rent free - meaning you can just kick back and have fun. Don't be mistaken by that. No one misses High School. Just the misunderstanding of the concept of being in High School.
