[Discussion] Anyone here still think Zorro=Smoker or Smoker> Zorro ?

I do not lol but people kept saying smoker as luffys rival had to be close to strong as luffy or atleast stronger than his crew but zorro senpai to god like :ilu:

Yeah this is the first time we even see Zoro use hardening. He's been one shotting without it for quiet some time.

Even with this latest chapter, I wouldn't say so. I don't think Pica's CoA is stronger than Vergo's, this chapter just showed his destructive feats. and CoA feats. Before I'd say Vergo would mid-diff. Zoro but now high-diff. sounds appropriate. The fact that Oda pretty much hinted that both Luffy and Smoker will be fighting again soon, suggests Smoker > Zoro. It's already bad enough that people think Smoker and Sanji are equals, some even say that Sanji is stronger. I'm not sure where this Smoker hate really stems from either.

PH wasn't a fair representation of Smoker's strength. I hope most of you guys even realize this. Does it really seem something like Oda to spend several years to form a rivalry between Smoker and Luffy, only to have Luffy mid-diff. Smoker? (going by the logic of some people that Sanji > Smoker)

Well, it's obvious that Vergo is an experienced haki user. We've seen him full body CoA during the Corazon flashback and even Doflamingo himself had a lot of faith in his CoA.

What rivals? Were any of them developed as much as the rivalry between Luffy and Smoker? I don't think so. I disagree with PH being fair representations to Smoker's strength either. We've seen nothing new out of his DF, all we saw him use was haki really. I agree it can improved upon but for him to show nothing new out of his DF over a 2 year TS isn't a fair representation.
