Anyone here actually like Sakura

I like Sakura but I can't be the only one right. She is obviously one of the best looking characters in the series. She I s also kinda useful am I right?

Yeah if I had to pick a favorite female character, it would be her. She was useful in saving hundreds of lives during the war arc and Naruto's life when she was taking him to Minato. Although there a bunch of things I don't like about her (mainly that she's kinda annoying imo haha).

here i give you few reasons as why the majority with me, hate her as a character in the series

1= Useless for the first 225 episodes of naruto, not shippuden, even in the second part she maybe did 2 useful things
2= Even tho she trained under tsunadi, she still showed no major feats in the war, just healing with other random healers
3= lost purpose in the story , no longer needed for healing concidering naruto now
4= Could not do the most important task in the full manga aka destroying his eye

the list goes on, that character is just filling up the white spots in the page.

1. wow even during the zabuza arc, she's the one that stood protecting the bridge guy. She was still needed for the task, no matter how trivial it was. Saved naruto and sasuke from death in the forest of death TWICE each. Was intelligent enough to help carry her team thru the exam part of the chunnin exams WITHOUT cheating. In the second part she saved kankuro's life. saved chiyo's life. help take down sasori (even solo'd the majority his 100 puppets without a scratch nor help from chiyo). Now i'll stop there because by "2nd part" i'm assuming you're talking about in the first part of shippuuden...
2. No major feats in the war??? Stored chakra in a fine point consistently for 3 years (EVEN while fighting sasori), something only Tsunade has been noted to do. If it were that simple, Shizune, Naruto, etc would have done the same. Took down the most juubi clones in a single strike. Held her own in the war by keeping the alliance healed BEFORE Tsunade arrived. Kept naruto alive long enough for obito to help. Healed naruto after the 10 tails first resurrection. Was able to figure out the secrets of white zetsu and was able to disable one in a single strike. I'll stop there for now also.
3. Lost purpose in story? yet the entire theme for the past chapter and upcoming chapter is "Teamwork". It's not about what she can do alone, but sometimes it's about how she contributes to the balance and completion of team 7.
4. It's not that she could not do it, it's because she had a lot of questions. Also, if she had destroyed the eye, Obito might not have had the strength to kamui her back to the NV when Madara came for it. There's a reason Kishi did not make her destroy the eye. For the sake of the plot. It would be the same if it were Naruto/Sasuke/Kakashi/etc.

so if the majority (including you) really fail to realize these manga facts...well...i guess it's to be expected.

Part 1 sakura i couldn't stand, because naruto would always do his best to help her,save,support her. Hell he even made a team just to bring back sasuke for her. And even though naruto did all those things she still treated him like crap, while still spazzing over sasuke who didn't even like her.

Now shippuden sakura! hell yea! she has a better role a better purpose, she actually fights now, she heals, and the thing i like about shippuden sakura is that she isn't a sasuke fangirl like she use to be. She got a big character development compared to part 1 sakura.

So to answer your question yes.

No, you're definitely not alone. Out of the other females in the show, she is the most liked. Though she has a significant amount of haters, but then again the main characters always do, and in Naruto alot of the female characters are disliked because they cannot compare to the guys. But she's a decent character though and she's done her best in the war. There's not really much more to ask her to do at this point. U_U
