No, I don't hate the pairing itself or any pairing for that matter. SS still has Sasuke smiling during the forehead poke.

I just don't like it when the fandom for anything (pairings included) takes a panel out of context and connects it with something else in order to romanticize a point.

Matters only get worse when you have people grasping at straws and majorly taking things out of context (Pairing fans would probably use what you just posted as something significant for pairing development). On a more serious note, I don't find it irritating. Shipping fans for the Naruto series are quite desperate in general. They tend to take scans/images out of context, misconstrue, and demote key moments/symbolism in the manga all the time.

Don't take things to heart so easily. I know he smiled at her before, I admitted this in one of my other posts (forehead tap) following the original. (You didn't need to put in the effort to post other scans. Though, it's still admirable that you did because you wanted to defend a ship you like.)

I'm sorry. Yes, it is a nice art style but when people take manga panels and paste them to another scenario, I'm not a fan of that. I'm not saying it's wrong or that I hate it. I've just never have been a fan of that for any way that is done. That's just the way I view things.
