Before I begin with this thread I like to make one particular thing clear, if you are here with the intend of making "Pedo Obito" jokes then please do yourselves a favor and leave the thread, now, that joke was never funny to begin with. I honestly don't know who started it but it seems ridiculous to label him as that for loving someone who would be the same age as him if they were still alive.

Back on topic, anyone ever felt sorry for Obito when looking back throughout the events that unfolded in his life ? To first start off is the fact that he was with no parents, suffering under the same longing for to be loved as how to Naruto did during his particular childhood.

Though in his case, it went to worse when someone he would love comes at the unfortunate hands of on how the Shinobi World was at the time, taking away someone who was precious to him and leading to find any means necessary to bring her back to a world where she would exist one more. It's still a personal painful feeling to not be around someone who'm you desperately want to be with.

A good summary would be this particular video, highlighting the events in his life.

I was just wondering if anything, if anyone else felt sorry to some degree for this particular characters, until his demise when he was finally reunited with Rin.

Why would I? He is, and I quote, "the coolest guy ever" according to Naruto himself.

Now, I like Obito quite a bit, but Mother and I do wonder about Naruto's definition of cool, but there it is.

I do feel bad for Obito and that ending credits is both emotional and perfect for Obito. The pedo jokes are just for fun and they don't have a leg to stand on.

I do agree that the constant flashbacks are making them less satisfying.

Sympathy is one of the main feelings that obito's character was suppose to motivate so to begin with, so of course I did. Unlike many others, I actually thought that obito's character was handled pretty well. I just thought that kakashi should have been the one to make him come to realization not naruto, seeing how he's the one who understood the situation the most.

I felt super sorry for him because Minato or Kakashi or Rin didn't even go back to recover his body. I don't care if it buried under rocks and shit. dig the shit up.

I never did, i laughed at the disgusting pedo.

It was war and his friend died. Didnt care to ask why at kakashi or take kakashi with him untill he woke up so kakashi could explain.

Instead start a war a ruin many lives years later because your irrelevant GF who put you in the friendzone died in a ninja world????

I agreed on everyword said by BZ obito os mere rubbish and i laughed at his dead :)

I always liked Obito's character and understood where he was coming from, but I wouldn't say I felt bad for him...I just understood him. But ending 28 is the best Naruto ending of all time IMO.

I did, there's nothing amusing about someone suffering. Others may have suffered more than him, but any suffering is enough to tear someone down if they are unable to deal with it, or have no one else there for them. Everyone deals with pain somewhat differently so comparing his experiences to others would be pointless. He did suffer and I do feel sorry for him for that, also for how lost he got along the way, out of despair.

I kind of felt sorry for him mainly because he never got to accomplish a dream to become Hokage which he had when he was younger. In the Kakashi Gaiden I kind of felt sad when I thought Obito " died".

I did but especially at the end when he was about to disintegrate and He was being sentimental. I understood what Naruto meant when he called obito the coolest guy unlike most. What Naruto meant was that even though obito made a huge wrong turn in his life and did a lot of bad, once upon a time he did want to be hokage and aspired to greatness just like Naruto, and in the end he made a complete turn around and for a short while was that "obito who wanted to become hokage"
He was a great person who was especially effected by shinobi world in a traumatizing way
