anyone exited about the akira movie

i dont know if you guys have seen akira or not. i am a lot older than most of you and grew up with it. an awesome movie and they are making a live action due out next year. so i was wondering are you all going to watch it? i know i am

I heard that it wasnt going to set in Japan but in America? Im gonna keep my expectations low because you know what happens when an anime gets turned into a live action.

yea same here any movie that comes from a anime or comic i have low expectations but with x men movies and batman movies being good i hold some hope

Yes. It's a classic. My brother showed it to me when I was a kid. It's still on top movie lists. ​

Yeah the anime movie was a bad ass classic, but I heard about a week ago that that project got cancelled.. I mean the akira live action movie
