All who agree fail. You fail to know what a true villain is, so does Kishi.
Madara is a true villian, he killed many uchiha, took his brothers eyes, killed the son of the 4th, killed tobirama, killed hashirama, almost killed the 5 kage.

The whole volume started with Obito's slow conversion after speaking with Kakashi. Throughout the volume, the theme has been Madara gaining strength (and reaffirming his convictions) while the heroes rapidly lose strength. The battle effectively represents the conflicting influences on Obito as he struggles to decide whether or not to bet on Naruto, who may fail. And now Obito realizes the power of Naruto's path; when Naruto seems doomed to fall against Madara, Obito rises up to save the day.
