Anyone else think Guy/Lee will sacrifice themselves?

When you unlock the eighth chakra gate, you die afterwards. But why? Why would Kishimoto put this in? Unless he intends for someone to die from it. I personally believe it will either be Lee using it to prove he can become a Ninja with only Taijutsu or Guy protecting Kakashi from something, anyone else thing this/anything different?

I think Guy will go 8 gates. He is more skilled then Lee at taijutsu and like they said only taijutsu works on edo Madara.

How are they lame-ass? Gai has anally raped Kisame before now and has shown skills in Space-Time ninjutsu and Ninja tools like his Nunchaku..

As for Lee, well...he's good at taijutsu.

English? Lee can only open five gates. Gaara ass-raped him and walked away like a boss. Sasuke achieved his speed in less than a month whilst learning to use another chakra nature and subsequently, Chidori. Lee's taijutsu is awesome but very linear.

Agreed. For me Neji's death was unexpected until i realized that one of the lessons neji was taught was that he could choose his own death. Imo, it'd be no surprise if Gai or Lee dies using the 8th gate.

Why would Lee be able to open the 8th gate? Besides only Gai will probably do it, and THEN Lee can learn it from watching, but he probably wont use it right away, and would probably be useless, if he did...
