Anyone else sick of Naruto playing Shield?

I love the fact that naruto has enough power to protect the entire alliance, kudos on him and that is pretty epic but....

I want to see naruto unless new mode he got. This whole battle he has BARELY attacked or used that incredible speed and power. Deflected bijuu bombs and made them explode into mountains, and kakashi mistook him for Minato. Yet he's just derping around protecting everyone. Yes I know he should be doing this, but i wish the alliance would just get the heck out of there, 1 single kage there is enough to account for them and they have 4 of the strongest and Now naruto and sasuke.

Bottom line, this is like the superman dilemma. He can't use his full power because he is afraid to hurt people around him(in this case if he uses his full power instead of using it to shield others people still get hurt)

Naruto needs to unless and when he does(and possibly gets the other half of the chakra) Will be the most powerful character in the manga, hence the name.

I already think he's above edo madara's level but he just simply has no sealing techniques.

Thing is, this is what happened at the Pain Invasion arc. Even then Hinata still managed to get hurt, leading to Naruto's transformation into the 8 tails. Hinata managed to stop Naruto getting caught fully but still, this has happened in the past, where Naruto wants to be left alone on the field, but it doesn't work. The alliance are fighting for him, and he is fighting for them. Naruto is just doing his best.

I agree with your point, I have been feeling this way for a while now. If the alliance left Naruto could use his full power without worrying about protecting fodders.

YES finally a post, kinda hate that he's playing shield atm when his attacks are devastating and have a giant area dmg.

but as Sakura's comment suggested, he thinks of all of them as comrades.
