Anyone else reading boku no hero?

Fukkkk...this definitely going to be the next big thing. Reminds me a bit of Naruto or one piece lol.

I'm on chapter 20 where the sports festivals is beginning, which kind of reminds me of the chunnin exams, except I'd rather read this lol. All the characters are good and very likeable

I'm enjoying this manga a lot, don't think I've ever read/watched a superhero type anime and so far it's pretty good

Dude the ending of Naruto was some of the shittiest writing ever kishi screwed us with that Kaguya just pops out outta nowhere

Yea after that image, I started reading it. There were like 10 chapters when I started. Interestingly, this manga got so much hype and is sold a lot. However I dont like it much, just reading it casually.

Why I dont like it is the base of the story, quirks. The mangaka can give any type of quirk to anyone and there is no limit for it. Plotholes and asspulls are actually plot itself. Also the hero staff and the reactions are so childish and all is in some kind of rush.

I think the art style is unique and so far there hasn't been any asspulls or plot holes...every quirk has a definite weakness. As long as the mangaka explains everything like he has been then I don't see a problem with it tbh

Kaguya reveal was handled very well imo, in fact it impressed me because it was so ironic and surprising. But Kaguya herself was handled poorly, after she went to the ice dimension and started fighting Naruto solo her mystique was gone and she was no longer very threatening imo.

Madara served his purpose and accomplished his goal, there were tons of Easter eggs foreshadowing Kaguya and if you know her folk tale then it would make more sense to you. Kaguya could have been handled better though, I got the feeling Kishi got cocky and tried to wing the fight without any planning and it just came across as anticlimactic

It's interesting...but yet to be tested by time. Right now it has the novelty of something new.

As for the comparison to Naruto and surpassing it...who knows...though the same has been said about others that fell into obscurity...like Nabari, Ga-Rei ect.

Nah...read his interview with ODa...he himself says it was rushed. WSJ had forced him to finish it on chapter 700. So its not his fault entirely. He was running out of space.

I'm reading it right now, I definitely agree with Oda that Kishimoto shouldn't have put the Straw Hat symbol in the last chapter, it's the last chapter, having a One Piece advertisement right in the last panel forever is insulting to fans who don't really like One Piece. Even Oda admits this, jeez.

Looks like the 1v1s are happening now, this will be guuuud. A match up between todoroki, bakugou or midoyori will be epic. Bakugou was a complete dikk at the start, he has surprisingly grew on me, he seems calmer and a lot better now

It's interesting...but yet to be tested by time. Right now it has the novelty of something new.
