The Obito power-up bull shit made me see Kakashi is a new light.
Prior to this whole war, I always held Kakashi in high regard because he was always a genius.
When he lost the sharingan and felt helpless, I hoped Kishi would bring him back to his basics--the days before he got the sharingan. Before the sharingan, he was still a genius. He was still fast enough to reach the level where he could invent chidori. He still became a chunin at 6 and jounin at 12.
The sharingan, I thought, just enhanced his power. Now he could copy jutsus and predict an opponent's movements. And of course, perform kamui.
Then we got to the war where he lost the eye and he couldn't do anything without the eye. He became useless. He became nothing. What happened to the Kakashi who existed before the sharingan? Had he really become nothing without BORROWED power?
now that he regained Obito's powers he's stepping up with strategies and leading the team again. As if he only regained his confidence after reacquiring the borrowed power. As if his self worth is based on this borrowed power. Where were his analytics without the eye? IDK man. I'm just disappointed.
Now look at Sakura. She's the ONLY member of team 7 without some form of power from an outside source. She trained her ass off to become powerful and now look at her. By her own devices, she's now at the level where she can help save the world and defeat a friggin God.
If she never does anything else in the series, you've got to hand it to Sakura that she never wallowed in self pity and sat around waiting for a bull shit power up to contribute. Even when Sasuke shat on her and when she felt sad, she still swallowed her tears and said, "It's ok. I'm fine." And she always stepped up to help in any little way she could. And now look at her. She landed a blow on Kaguya and put her in position to possibly be sealed (that obviously remains to be seen.)
My respect for Kakashi has greatly diminished but increased for Sakura.
Yea she's hella annoying sometimes and I've certainly shat on her in the past, but no one can take the fact that she's the ONLY member of team 7 who wholey earned her power.
