If Sasuke never ceased to exist, than Naruto wouldn't develop this much and wouldn't become as powerful as he is now.

The rivarly lies in the Hokage title now and they might even battle it out to the brink of death or death itself. From this point on, it really doesn't matter if Sasuke is a hero nor even a villan and there's no reason to hate on him now.

there is probably many reasons he said he wants to be Hokage one, to fire up Naruto and get hime serious or two, he probably thinks that this is how he can most likely fulfill Itachi's wishes and besides this is pobably Kishi's way of lettings us know there will be a sasuke vs naruto but would probably be for the title of hokage

Well i dont want to be the weird one here on NB but I actually like the idea of sasuke becoming hokage. I'm not a sasuke fan but I can tell you that sasuke knows the problems with the leaf village and hes the only one who had the chance to talk with the 4 kages about the villages past! It only makes sense for him to want to become hokage and to become one! Maybe Naruto will become hokage and then Naruto will make sasuke hokage like how Hiruzen made Minato the 4th hokage!

I pretty much hate dislike am indifferent about this entire manga now. Yeah, that's what I'm looking to say.

No but, I'm pretty baffled by the recent events in the manga. It all seems iffy to me. Kishi may be making the lot of this up as he goes, to my dismay. :|

I feel as though a lot of the potential this manga has is going down the drain. Kishi completely destroyed Sasuke's subplot and now changed his role to wanting to become hokage, etc.

I don't know. Who else feels as though Kishi is just conjuring this stuff up?
