Actually classic Sasuke looks like Madara and current Sasuke looks more like Izuna to me... Kishi is trying to bring home the "history repeats" point I think...

Haha no. That would involve reincarnation, which has not been shown to exist in this manga. And that also assumes that people are reincarnated into bodies that looked like the bodies of their past lives.

Though I have noticed they look similiar, I would accredit it to the facts that the Uchiha have the same hair color, same eye color, and it wouldn't be that unreasonable for them to look somewhat alike. Perhaps Sasuke is one of his descendants. He is obviously related to him though.
