Anyone else got into metal/rock from watching AMVs

When I was younger, I liked watching AMVs/tributes and a lot of them would use metal/rock music like 3 days grace. That is pretty much how I knew about these bands. I'd listen to them all the time. Mainly the same songs. Anyone else had similar experiences.

GH3 also got me to like some Metallica songs.

I'm one of those xd.. Because of AMV's I got into bands like Disturbed, System of a down, slipknot and some japanese metal.

There was one for bleach a while back set to "animal I have become" by 3 days grace and I've been in love with the band ever since
