Just started? Naruto has been going on for a long while now unless you were referring to the war which you weren't. I like Genjutsu but only when it is mixed with a good ratio of Nin and Tai.

Kabuto was actually a decent villain with his new abilities, but he's been reduced to fodder for a whole new eye technique -_-

Theres no more hand to hand combat, its all speed, explosions, and dojutsu.

i think its the lamest way to fight an opponent, like wft?!?! There isnt a fight, just someone thinking something went down, while all are just really starting there, kinda lame ninja way IMO.

like bringing a gun to a sword fight, ones ready to fight the other rather make quick work. -_-

I like the way Sasuke uses it, making a small opening in order to confuse your opponent and create an opening. That is the real way to use genjutsu. Instead, we have genjutsus that can One-Shot people, regardless of their skills.

Coming back with a Minato vs Itachi, everyone ditches that both have excellent skills in ninjutsu, taijutsu and speed, but everything is just thrown away with the casual "Tsukuyomi and it's over.." Of course it is, all because Kishi wanted to make a Haxxed genjutsu that is undefeateable for some reason. Honestly, since I read that there was a genjutsu that cannot be broken, I instantly new that will create a huge gap in power.

i agree, the way Sasuke uses his genjutsu is reasonable/logical, yet also entertaining.

depends on how the genjutsu is used, sasuke's way is very entertaining. itachi and danzo's way has become boring though, itachi uses it as a one-shot and danzo as a lifeline. the genjutsu battle between sasuke and itachi, now that was fantastic. one of my favourite moments in the manga and anime.

one-shot abilities are the least entertaining, when you see it the first time like itachi's tsukuyomi and minato's jikoukan ninjutsu it's awesome, but not when it's used constantly. imagine if kakashi used kamui offensively each and every battle, that's what he does with itachi and minato.

i kind of miss the handseals also, and good taijutsu. kakashi vs sasuke's brief spar was quite entertaining, and naruto base and then sm vs the deva path. even the gates have become more like ninjutsu than tai, lee's ora renge was actual tai, guy's morning peacock and daytime tiger are much more like chakra blasts.

I don't even need to explain this. What has became of an once great Naruto manga, that used to be about Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Genjutsu.

Now it's only Genjutsu, the rest got ditched over.

We barely have any handsigns, and no sign of Taijutsu at all. Eyes, eyes and eyes. And when we are supposed to see action full of Ninjutsu [Kakashi's Rampage], it's off-screen.

I'm sorry but I cannot take this seriously when Naruto vs. Tobi, Madara vs. the 5 kages, Kisame vs. Gai, Naruto vs. 3rd Raikage, Naruto vs. the Edo tensei, Naruto vs. the disguised zetsu, Naruto and chojuro vs. Black Zetsu, Onoki vs. Muu, Gaara vs. his father, team Asuma vs. Asuma, the army vs. the demon statue, Darui vs. the Gin Kin bros, Kakashi division vs. the seven swordsmen + the kekai genkai people, Deidara vs. Onoki, and ambush division vs. Deidara and Sasori all happened recently, without a single genjutsu in any of them.

To be honest, I'm a bit tired of Eyes/Dojutsu.... I mean really?? May be it's just me but I think it kinda got out of hand. The dojutsu use form naruto part 1 and naruto shippuuden can't be compared at all anymore. And before I forget.... What happend to the byakugan?? I thought it was supposed to be powerful and a KG?? Now it seems it's not even worth mentioning again compared with the sharingan and the rinnegan.

There was the (1,2,3 tomoe) sharingan then MS and finally EMS. Then we were introduced to the rinnegan. It was something "god-like" the SO6P had. Something special.... It was only 1 other person to use the rinnegan(nagato). Now tobi and edo madara joined the rinnegan club too. More so we learned that after the EMS you will get the rinnegan. But is this all? No... We've had a guy running around with 10 sharingan's in his arm and another implanted as eye. And finally even the jinchuuriki started running around with a sharingan besides having of course the rinnegan. We will probably see sasuke having the rinngan in the end too.

Don't get me wrong. I know the Uchiha's are descendants of the older son with the powerful eyes and so on... Of course the have to be strong. But the dojutsu's became just too overpowered especially since part 1 IMO. I mean look at the overpowered jutsu's: Koto from shisui, tsukuyomi from Itachi, Izanagi and Izanami, Susann'o (also with legendary items) and finally pulling giant meteor's from the sky... Well now that I wrote about the older son's descendant's, let's look at the younger ones. The senju's(uzumaki's).... Let's see.... Not much left... The first and second are dead since a long time. Tsunade is trying her best but we all know she can't be compared to the first and second. So it only leaves us with.... Naruto, the main character. I saw many people say naruto is overpowered at the moment. But guess what? He has to be! If he want's a chance against guy's like tobi and sasuke.

My point is. Which shinobi's can stand against the kind of dojutsu's and their user's I listed above?? We have kabuto(a guy who implanted every useful cell he could find and get his hand on, a total human experiment, able to use the most overpowered jutsu in the narutoverse), Tobi(who konws most about these kind of jutsu's and is a total experiment himself) and sadly yes, that's already it, BM Naruto and the kages. So only a few who even stand a chance. As for kakashi and guy and many others. We all know they are strong but not on the same power level. If naruto's generation would face EMS Sasuke, they would all die and that's for sure.

That's why I think it got out of hand and boring. In the end I'm just happy we got to know some shinobi's who aren't blessed with a KG and are still badass and could take on these overpowered guys....

Because ITACHI is fighting! What does Itachi specialise in? GENJUTSU.
All the other fights have been heavy on ninjutsu.

If Itachi's battles are fully about Genjutsu, then he is a badly written character. He never loses, and every hit Kabuto/Any other villain gives him is actually an illusion and in reality he isn't hurt at all. He never loses. Itachi should get some real failures already, not only keep winning.

I still hope that in tomorrow's chapter his plan will backfire and Edo Tensei won't get stopped due to Zetsu's spore.
