Never thought we would finally get this far, especially with Studio Pierrot's notoriety for filler episodes, but anyone else feel a little sad once seeing the final opening and knowing that Naruto Shippuden is coming to it's end?
This animated series has been around since 2002 (original series), and Shippuden in 2007. At that time I was still in early high school, which makes me a little surprised considering in my mind, that is now ages ago now for me personally. During that period "Naruto" was all the buzz since I remember seeing the headband merchandise periodically around the area with the kids.
I still remember to this day coming home from a long day of playing with friends after school, turning on the television and binge-watching Toonami for Naruto at the beginning, alongside other series such as Dragon Ball Z and Rurouni Kenshin, and heading over to a friend's house who was big into the series, and playing the Naruto Ninja games with him on his Playstation 2. Always having to wonder when Naruto and Sasuke would finally have their final showdown in the series as I waited for it's conclusion.
Hard to believe that the anime series has hit it's end point, so just curious if anyone else is feeling a little distraught that the ending is now in sight?
