It was meh. Would have been more meaningful if we knew more of her background but I doubt Kishi even has one thought up, leaving those tears to be meaningless.

I would have cared if Kishi cared. Honestly, her character was nonexistent and served no purpose in the war arc whatsoever. You could literally chop out the chapters involving her and the only thing that you would notice is that Madara is suddenly out of the picture.

If Kishi had expanded on her character [and by that I don't mean her backstory necessarily, but her personality - she was just a body in the manga] then I would have cared for her more and her motives. But instead we got the half-assed BZ plot twist/character to do all the talking while Kaguya just wasted the manga's precious time and potential to give us an actual noteworthy final villain/fight *cough* Madara/Sasuke *cough*

Yeah I feel bad for her because her tear is image of how unfair is Kishi in developing her characters and her way of fight.

When I saw Kaguya, I just saw Kishi unfairness on many of his characters because MC need to prevail more than other characters.

To be honest, the moment she cried was the moment that gave me, personally, a chill. I thought that it's a start for a good, developed character with actual personality and good backstory which we're gonna find out in the following chapters.

Kaguya is about as developed as a Smurf, I didn't even know if I should feel sad for kaguya because to me she was just a mute psycho chick who has a chakra fetish to near insanity. Despite being a "Goddess" she was more humble about it, BZ was fapping to her power but Kaguya didn't seem to have a God complex unlike Madara, nagato, and obito (in some cases).
