Anyone elese bothered by the fact that the ones behind the Boruto series make us wait for 6-7 months maybe more to get to the point of Boruto manga?

*Quick how do we make more money from something that ended?" - --- - Write the same stuff under a different artist. Then make them wait one month for each chapter to force them to feel the hype and read the shit stuff they already know from the movie.

NEXT - We start an anime series of Boruto Manga and we start it with 2 years of fillers before we start the first episode of Boruto anime.

OMG SUCH GENIUS!

1. They're re-establishing the lore.
2. Monthly > Weekly.
3. Yes, they're milking it.

i hate the fact that we get no real character development until they get thru the movie and to tease us we get glimpses of the future with insane powerups... it is indeed bull crap.

Eh, I don't mind it too much - at least Ikemoto can practice drawing with this recap. It's not hard for me to just ignore it until the new content. Also, it's not like everything else before that was voluntary non-profit work.

Now, the real question is, will the new content be good?

Nope. You don't have to read it if you are not interested. But some of us prefer to read the manga and only manga.

Yea, but if he draws poorly on purpose to distract the readers from the real reason they're doing this entire recap

Yeah, well, same reason they did everything else. Again, it's not like the original manga/anime wasn't made to earn money.

I thought it's a good manga when I first started reading it. Then I, like everyone else started to feel the let down of Shippuuden chapter by chapter, yet Naruto is still the only manga and anime which I've ever readed/watched :)

Why be bothered, they could make you wait an eternity for the new Boruto stuff by not making it in the first place. There are plenty of reasons they would do this, one of them being to allow the new artist to get the hang of drawing Kishimoto's characters with the movie as a template, as it's easier to draw from a template than from scratch. I think it's interesting to see the progression in art and storytelling in just these few chapters and I greatly prefer the manga retelling of the movie so I'm very happy that it exists.

Just be glad it's not Toei

I'm very sure that The Artist of Boruto manga has drawn Kishimoto's characters times and times over and over again before he got his hands on the project.

It's not like this artist just happened to be in the studio and Kishi one morning said "Time head towards the studio to flash pick a new artist for me" *Uhm hm hm ram pam pam in the studio. You, secretary guy. You re my new artist* "Tadaaaam - I'm doing everything so fast. I must be the new Einstein!!!".... Ofc it didn't happen like this.

So, I'm fairly assured that this artist has experience with Kishi's work.

What you said about being glad that they at least make it cuz otherwise they might as well make us wait ages...

Redrawing something that was already shown is actually not NOT CREATING NEW CONTENT. So, they do make you wait cuz there is nothing new they create.

Idk who Toei is, but from the way you say it... I'm pretty happy that it's not him :D

They could have given us no new stuff and just ended it with the Boruto movie. Instead they decide to give us new stuff and you call them *******s for covering old content but you forget that they didn't even have to promise new content in the first place. It's like someone tells you they bought you a car and says they'll give you it in a few months but then you ***** that it's not here yet.

And I'm sure he drew a lot in the past but nothing of this extent creating a manga requires a lot of attention to detail and hours and hours of planning and extremely precise measurements. Only a select few people have the ability to pull that off with the amount of background detail we see in this manga. Look at Bleach they skip the backgrounds but not here. They got to make everything look 3D as well as stylized in the traditional Naruto way it's not easy when your a different artist trying to mimick another's style trust me. He needs this time to get into the swing of things before tackling the new stuff because they know when the new stuff hits if the presentation isn't good that will effect the overall opinion on it and anyone and their mom knows peoples opinions are going to be strong as **** on any new territory this new manga traverses.

Kishimoto probably wanted it this way, to make sure everything was running smoothly before letting the team add to his story.

They are not creating new content. It's the same old content given in the form of manga. If you can call this new content then you either lack something very important in your day by day essential survival genes or you are being paid by the studio to create hype and defense.

He could very well drew this stuff in his own spare time in his journal book to get better and continue with the new content. Instead he sells a sheep that was already sold.

Next thing you'll see me inventing the Light Bulb*again* and sell it to you without the glass carcas around the copper wires because I need to perfect my work by getting your money first then I'll perfect my glass carcas and sell you a light bulb. Meanwhile accept my lightbulb as it is.

I didn't call it new content it's a manga version of the movie being used as an intro to the new stuff. It's also for Kishimoto to make sure these new mangaka aren't going to **** up the new stuff with bad art, so he's helping him fix the art.

And don't pretend your a disappointed consumer because you haven't bought shit you read this online so you can't say they ripped you off being trying to "sell you back the same stuff in a different wrapper". No one is denying it's the movie in manga form you don't need to read it if you don't want they add cool little details and changes which some fans enjoy. If you don't like it just go away and stop whining, come back in a few months when they get to the new stuff but don't act like they owe you anything because they don't.

Are you saying that its quality declined because profit was being made from it? I mean, in a way yes, but it has more to do with Kishi's skill level (which is subjective anyway).

Point is, just because they are doing what they're doing for money doesn't automatically mean it's hopeless. Sure, I'd rather see new stuff instead of the movie recap, but honestly, it's easy for me to overlook.

Edit: and I mean, recaps and adaptations are nothing new. There are novelizations of movies and all that. You don't have to buy those, just like you don't have to buy or even read the first volume of Boruto.

Does my brother knows me ? For a matter of a fact I'm a Naruto fan and it's the only manga/ anime I read. I buy every chapter. Next time my brother should be wiser to not make such child statements on which he has no information.

They don't owe me anything, but for people who don't have a clear mind they buy this stuff even tho it's a simple recap and a poorly drawn recap for which he gets paid.

Come buy my lightbulb then. I don't owe you anything so if my lightbulb blows up the first time you turn it on .. shame on you for buying it.

I highly doubt the artist (who isn't even the writer) got to decide what to write and when, though.

this. I think we'll get another 2 months of rehash, before new material is given to us. That puts it in line with Naruto Shippuden finishing the manga and getting onto the novels. If that Boruto OVA is popular, we'll get an anime then.
