I kinda wish Naruto stayed in base form but was still as powerful, kinda like mystic Gohan

Personally I think the fight between him and Sasuke would look better. Just weird for Sasuke to look normal and Naruto glowing yellow.

I do. He could have used his Mystic mode for some more time and then revert to chakra cloak with Kaguya.
I guess it's just his fighting style now to complement his movement set.

Not really, I like his cloak. Also we haven't seen base since Naruto died. Those eyes prove he is in sage mode.
