Anybody watch JoJo?

Just caught up the other day, and I'm just curious, what happened to Hamon? It's like it just disappeared... I kinda liked seeing Jonathan use the overdrive a few times through out stardust crusaders but I wonder why nobody else bothers to learn it? It would definitely be a great back up, and especially help against Dio. At this point I don't see anybody besides Jonathan that would stand a chance against Dio. Everybody else relies too much on their stand.
