Anybody still think obito was the better final villain?

Never thought of Obito as a great villain anyways , but Madara isn't that better either , who knows what he'll do next , I'm going with Pain & Tobi .

but that's the point all we've seen is lame fights between opponents who naruto just befriends towards the end this time we're getting a gritty fight where naruto is going to be forced to brutally murder madara instead of deciding to join a book club with him once they cry over the shinobi way

Let's not forget how Obito wrecked Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, Naruto, Sasuke and all the fodders.

obito wrecked a wood clone hashirama, and got wrecked once everyone figured out he can only be hit with senjutsu

madara freaking ate hashirama grew 3 feet and is now a batshit crazy juggernaut

In terms of the war arc, madara is a much better villian. Never really liked obito because of a villain and kishimoto ruined his character. Tobi was awesome though.

Actually, he fodderized all the edo kages, and once it was figured out he is vulnerable to Senjutsu, it still took a lot of chapters and several attempts by Naruto and everyone else helping him to bring Obito down...

NOW,Keeping in mind that OBITO was TOBI,so yes. Obito shits on Madara as a anti-villain,as he is the only anti-villain who falls in all 3 major type- 1,2,3,of anti-villain's definition. And he is followed by PAIN/NAGATO.

AS FOR VILLAIN,I'LL SAY HIDAN & ORO(As long as his reasons are not revealed,to convert him into anti-villain)TAKE THE CROWN.

So yeah,madara is bad@ass,but no where near tobi or pain/nagato.

He was. He has more of a connection to the main characters and did more shit.

IMO, he was a great villain (better than Madara) until he got TNJ'd, even after his mask broke (though I won't deny that he was much better with the mask on and that the whole Rin thing is lame (but he said it himself, Rin wasn't the only reason he did what he did)).

Basically, Tobi > Obito pre-TNJ > Madara > Obito post-TNJ as a villain.

I prefer Obito to Madara by a lot. But, I'll be impartial.

...the problem is that Obito should have been the Final Villain and Madara pales in comparison. Aside from being one of Sasuke's ancestors, Madara has 0 connections to the main cast. Obito was responsible for so much crap and was Naruto's ultimate evil counterpart. Plus a theme ('the young generation will always surpass the previous one') is being crapped on -if this theme was still existent then Obito would have sucessfully betrayed Madara and outlasted him.
