You act like he didn't have any help. Please look back before making statements like that. Sasuke may or may not be Naruto equal but he is helping him. It don't matter if it is a fodder or not, they are all trying to keep each other alive so why are you mad over Sasuke saving Naruto?

No. The BM cloak is much more solidified. His current form is quite obviously the KCM cloak.

So essentially this is how i perceive the difference between the two modes.

In the initial KCM mode you can notice dramatic differences compared to his normal state, most notably his strength, speed and defences. You can easily see this difference in the speed comparison with A. Furthermore, he obtains the ability to utilise Chakra arms which can be used as substitute for Shadow Clones in creating rasengan variants. He also obtains the ability to sense negative emotions e.g. Kisame.

Now i'll try explain the difference between the aforementioned mode and Tailed Beast mode. So essentially, other Jinchurikis who are able to enter this mode are able to take upon the full-scale replicas of their unique beast. Bee pretty much demonstrates this for us. However, Naruto is able to enter a different mode which is visibly seen through the new cloak and the differing signs. Therefore we it should be assumed that a next level transformation must have some benefits. These are essentially, Naruto's speed, strength and defences are increased once more to the point where he can deflect five tailed beast balls by moving past them. I'm not sure if i can remember this quite properly, but i believe the speed difference is highlighted once more when Kakashi mistakes Naruto for Minato on the battlefield? He can also become the full-scale replica of Kurama with chakra.

I believe those are a few of the differences between the two modes and there is clearly a difference in power as he can obtain new strengths and abilities in between the two modes.

KCM = Not synced with Kurama. Lesser chakra reserves, lesser strength and lesser destructive capacity.

BM = Perfect Jinchuriki, Best reserves in the manga, stronger and top tier destructive capacity.

It's not that hard to perceive.
