Anybody else wish that Oro and the Sound Ninja stayed around for longer?

Team Dosu had the potential to be a gradually building threat towards Team 7. It would have been fun to have seen them go all out again after their brief encounter in the Chunin exams. Naruto could have gone up against Dosu, Sasuke against Zaku and Sakura against Kin Tsuchi. We could also see other Konoha 11 being involved like Lee VS Dosu or Shino VS Zaku again.

The Sound Five (or four as it is officially named) also had much more potential and should have lived on after the Rescuing Sasuke arc. After they have completed their training during the time skip we could have seen these epic rematches all over again (In canon):
Naruto VS Sasuke
Shikamaru VS Tayuya
Kiba VS Sakon and Ukon
Lee VS Kimimaro
Neji VS Kidomaru
Choji VS Jirobo.

Then have the introduction of Taka later on:

and we would have:
Naruto VS Sasuke
Sakura VS Karin
Kakashi, Gai and Tsunade VS Orochimaru (assuming Jiraiya is dead at this point)
Konoha 11 VS Suigetsu and Juugo.

This all sounds like a bunch of wishful thinking I know, but the whole Oro and Sound village background had the potential to be very interesting. Plus back in Part 1, they gave me more of a fear feeling than the Akatsuki villains (Well apart from Pain during the invasion, Madara was meh)

Does anybody else wish they should have stayed around for longer along with Oro with perhaps more characters being added to the fray?

I do. Their powers and personalities were truly intriguing, having them around for a bit longer would have been quite nice.

I liked the way the sound 5 was handled. Kishi put a lot of effort in, and they were entertaining fights. Any more elaboration might have ruined them.

The rest of the sound village and Orochimaru? I think Kishi made his choice that the Akatsuki were going to be the prime villains in shippuden when he ended the sound 5, however, I think it was good for him to avoid touching on them too much.

Again, things only went south with the Uchihas so, yeah. I was glad with their treatment for the most part and although I like Orochimaru, I don't know what else there is for him.

Definitely. This would have kept Akatsuki in the background and crested more arcs. Imagine Naruto's team going after a valuable artifact that is both one of a kind and has a unique power. Orochimaru sends a team to retrieve it as well. As the 8+ people start fighting, in crashes Hidan and Kakuzu who want it for Akatsuki for both power and funding. They arrive, effortlessly knock people back (killing most of what remains of Orochimaru's team) and fleeing. Two/three arcs later we finally have the Hidan and Kakuzu arc.

Yeah,I wish the sound village in general was built up into a viable threat to the other villages.

Yeah I wish Dosu team was brought up a bit more I don't understand what was the point in showing Zaku past if he was going to die for no reason later on.

The sound team was pretty pathetic. They were having a hard time 3on1 against Sakura. According to Tenten, Lee would have beaten them 1on3 if he wasn't worried about Sakura. They got trapped by Team 10 and only survived because they were willing to kill Kin. And once Sasuke went into CM1 he easily took them down, and if it wasn't Sasuke, Neji was already prepared to kill all 3 of them.

I think they generally ended quiet well; but after they ended; what they have left is forgetten; they Gave k11 some good development; yet most of the members got irrevelant.

Yeah; i would like to see more of them; but considering Kishi did not evenuse what he had (k11); there would be No point for sound nins to be alive, since they would be forgetten anyway.

But this could happen; there would be few more conflicts between sound and leaf after yime skip, so we would also see more of the sound village and improvement of k11. Or maybe they could do more against Akatsuki or Taka.

Then again; Kishi does not play over about stuff who are not Uchiha/Uzumaki/Senju/Minato. And Ino-Shika-Chou; let the other k11 members develop Kishi those 3 reached their expire death at the end of Hidan and Kakuzu arc; yet they are getting more we got it; Shikamaru makes strategies while looking constipated, Ino bloomed to a flower and Chouji cries and gets fat.

Sad but true, you're not Uzumaki, Uchiha, Senju, Minato, Ino-Shika-Cho, Hinata? Irrelevant. I still have hopes that Orochimaru is still evil.

They actually can using teamwork...

Sakura: Medic, physical strength is useful in knocking back Obito which buys the alliance time, Katsuyu summon

Shikamaru: Develop a winning strategy/ambush (target one character but it turns out they were positioned for a reason).

Ino: Communicate strategy, pause Obito/Madara for split seconds to give openings.

Choji: Large size and butterfly mode can assist against Madara's Susanoo, or be used to support Hashirama's giant summons.

Kiba: I see a giant tree... I see someone with a new giant saw... Kiba cut that tree down.

Shino: Bugs absorb Chakra... place them on Madara's Susanoo to prepare an opening/weaken the defense for a far stronger shinobi.

Hinata: Gentle fist affects even the strongest opponents. Twin Lion Fists potentially effecting Obito's insides, or countering his near invulnerability. Obviously requires vast teamwork, or for Obito to specifically target her... causing a last ditch effort strike before passing out/dying.

Lee: His extreme speed can be used to both push back Obito, and to save slower people in harm's way. The Gate Moves are good crowd control techs.

Tenten: Her Bananafan has virtually every element. It can be used to cancel out Madara's/Obito's large scale Katon jutsu, or counter Mokuton (multiple elements attacking).



They can be useful, but they can't fight on their absolute own... they need teamwork, and some degree of protection.

But i would like to see sounds instead of taka honestly taka is lame .

Even kishimoto said he didn't want to give them important scene but his editor told him to .

And wtf sakura vs karin ? Just because both are girls (not sure if karin is ) doesn't mean they should fight against each other .

Plus Its a stomp not even a fight sakura easily kill karin .
