hello once again ladies and gents

so ive noticed a lot of discussion threads about the uchiha (specifically threads about sauske, itachi, and madara) have made it to the "most popular threads" catagory, and ive been wondering why these threads get to the top of the list almost every week (or at least while i've been here for the few months before i finally decided to make my account), so i thought i'd ask your opinion, and i'll probably even put a poll up depending on what reaction this gets, so my question is: what draws you to the uchiha threads so much?

DISCLAIMER: this is neither a troll thread(i dont see how this could be viewed as one @_@) nor an attempt to get to the front page. this thread was made solely to answer the question i had about you guys.

and speaking of questions, i was unsure if whether or not this would go in the questions and suggestions thread, so if thats where this is supposed to be, i'll try not to be so noobish a third time, i promise ^_^' lol.

I think the chatterbox is the right section.

I don't know why the Uchiha threads get in the popular section either, but it could be because of the reputation of the Uchiha. You see, it is said that they were strong, but almost all are dead.
Many wonder if Sasuke is strong, some say it's all because of his Sharingan --> EMS and how he only uses that.

There is a lot of discussion about Itachi, as it's said that he is strong, but we might be in the illusion of it. There are probably 3 groups: The one who says that Itachi is almighty, the group that says that Itachi is overrated, and the last one, the one that doesn't care.

There are just Uchiha haters/ persons who think that the Uchiha are overrated and Uchiha lovers/ people who think that the Uchiha are the strongest.

Don't know it for sure, though...

nice theory . if i had to hazard a guess it would probably be a mixture of the last two groups, but you did a real bang-up job. if i can figure it out i'll be sure to +rep u

sasuke was the cool guy in the early series
and madara became the ultimate shinobi
a war was started in his name, all kage gathered together to fight thim, and he's (potantially) overpowered. the list goes on.

that's why there are too many threads about the trio
and some people hate these guys for their reputation or stuff like that
and that's why the conversation gets heated. thus making it to the top threads list

itachi is a natual born bad-a, and he only lost to sauske (which was on a technicallity and every1 knows it) so i think its safe to asume that he was/is presumed to be invincible because of his record, sauske, on the other hand is a different story.

personality wise i don't think anyone likes him after he backstabbed his own team (if i remember right it was called hebi, please correct me if im wrong, though), but power wise i think he gets his hipe mainly from his sharingan, which can instantly copy any jutsu used in its eyesight while active. on top of that you have the Mangekeyo(omg major spelling fail o_o'), that gives the user 3 extreamly powerful skills that can pretty much can kill in an instant if the user is left alone. and now he has the eternal version, so now he doesn`t have to worry about becoming blind, so from what im looking at here, sauskes fanbase thinks he should be on another level from what he was before he got it.

this, of course, is only my speculation of the two above, so i hope i didn't come off as neither a hater nor fanboy, im just trying to respectfully look at both sides and how they're looking at it.
