In Storm 3, are there any unique or interesting strategies you use to f*ck with your opponent? And NO i'm not talking about comboqueening with part 1 neji or something or throwing shurikens every second as if you don't know any other buttons- i'm talking ACTUAL new ideas that you've come up with yourself. I've mastered characters like Goku Naruto, Madara and Edo Itachi but they're all just so...plain. They're not even that really fun to play as so now i've committed my time into the game finding different ways to play the game- or sometimes just have fun.
Anyone else got any strategies outside the box? Also- feel free to use any of these if they sound interesting :')
- Utakata
(Strategy is the fact that you can win matches with this guy without making it look like you give a sh*t. Your grabs are always in perfect close range, your tilt sends you into the opponent catching them offguard and your jutsu. DAT JUTSU. Enemy underestimates and charges into it. Every single time. You can use your bubbles at the start to infuriate the other player when all of their jutsu keep getting cancelled and they have no chakra. Go for it and you can even get a Ultimate Jutsu in there somewhere. - War Tobi
The phasing tilt is just too much fun to NOT use. - Ino
The sneaky poison and stall for time trick has worked since Storm 2 and is still my best method of fighting. Ino is fantastic because if you're good enough and train yourself to use her- she can actually hold her own in combos too. It's knowing when to grab, when to go for one of her awesome twirly combos and when to do that usefl slide tackle tilt. - Deidara
I can happily say I can play Deidara without spamming! (Since Deidara is actually one of my favourite characters its sad to see him abused) Deidara's jutsu is frankly amazing and I don't get why more people don't use it. The strategy with Deidara is to get in there with his short combos. The main thing here is surprise. Other player psyches themself up to fight a spammer and gets the shuriken out- big mistake. Genuine skill + originality > Spamming. The tilt is fun to avoid enemy combos. - Sai
My old strategy from Storm 2. Turn the arena into a minefield. Sai not only has his ink dogs but can fly over the stage sneakily dropping off supports like Tobi, Tenten or Haku and its almost impossible to dodge them all one after another. Whilst your enemy is trying to work out where to go you swoop in for the kill. With whatever you want.
