OK so I have to do a project on a random country for my world history class, and I pulled syria out of the bag. The question we basically have to answer is why Syria is important to study. I thought it would be good to have an actuall syrian perspective on it. if you can leave some suggestions of things I should focus on please do.

Not all syrians know about their history. Google is a beautiful function, you find information goddam fast and it's easy. If your unsure about something look it up on a different site. You know those projects I got 80%+ marks on, yeah google. Thanks google <3.

It is a great tool. However it lacks a lot of basic and common sense information. Stuff that is so normal everyone overlooks it and it never gets written down.

My parents watch a lot of news on the middle east in Arabic, and Syria has been a big claim recently due to all the riots and civil war going on.

When I visited Qatar, I met some Syrian women. I would say they are so beautiful.. they have features like the biblical Mary.

If you have to study Syria, you can start with the oldest City of the world Damascus.
