Any Smash bros fans?

I know most of us have played Super Smash bros. 64/Melee/Brawl/PM

But I was curious, does anyone on NB follow the competitive scene behind these games? I'd love to talk about it with some people and perhaps talk about tech/character tiers/etc. . I mostly play PM and Melee but I know a bit about Brawl, not much about 64 though :|.

Love super smash bros melee, I use to play all the time as a child, and now i went on a question to retrieve all my old lost game cube games and i play the **** out super smash bros. Best fighting game ever.

At least Zero Suit Samus won Brawl at Apex.

I used to play brawl at a high level, then I hopped over to Mortal Kombat 9.

Hey, look at that. Someone actually saw the point of where I was trying to go with this thread. While I'm not huge on brawl mainly due to the way the game works, I do respect it a good bit. .-.

The main thing I don't like about brawl besides the physics/tripping is the character dominance -_-. There seems to be 4-5 viable characters from my weak understanding of the brawl competitive scene.
Apex 2013 top 8 for brawl: Zero Suit Samus, Meta Knight, Meta Knight, Meta Knight, Meta Knight, Marth, Marth, Olimar.
There's obviously others such as Ice Climbers, Diddy Kong, Snake, etc. who are viable. But Meta Knight just dominates the tier list and is so unbalanced half of the other top tier don't really stand much of a chance assuming the skill level is the same.

There was only 1 fox in top 8, but of course it had to be Mango >.< so of course a fox wins unfortunately.

Same goes for Brawl, once MK9 came out, I dropped it like a bad habit.

I picked Meta Knight due to his sheer badassery and I was rewarded with him being the god of Brawl. I will main Meta Knight in the new SSB regardless of his placement in the tier list.

As for Mango... I mean... It's Mango, of course he's gonna win.

I won't lie, Meta Knight's a boss of a character. It's just annoying how a majority of people play him because they want to win rather than actually liking the character. Obviously this comes with every game but it's such a drag T_T. Was Meta Knight confirmed in the SSB4 yet?
