Any reason why Killer Bee never did this?

During the fight with Obito&Madara. Why didn't Killer Bee just once or even a hint to him trying to fuse with Samahada like Kisame once did? I would think it would be a reasonable power boost since the 8 tails and Shark Skin are both somewhat aquatic.
