[Spoilers] Any reason people say Naruto is an "idiot" in the battlefield ?

Can someone enlightening me on why they think that "Naruto can't come up with good strategies without Sasuke, since Sasuke needs to "carry" him!" when today's chapter proved others ?

Really liking the direction of the chapter admittedly, since for the first time in a really really long time it's Naruto himself thinking his strategies through.

real naruto didnt make it. he failed to go to kaguya's dimension. it was narut's clone with obito and sakura.
that was quite good plan indeed, the taijutsu didnt really work although diversion did work. but his real body failed to go to kaguya's dimension. basically it failed.

I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude or anything, but he is a jinchuuriki after all, did you use this logic when sasuke gained his power from the sage or when madara and obito both became the 10 tails jin. I know your mad that he seem too powerful, but lets not forget the lesson of this manga or what its about.

Naruto is the child of the prophecy, also teamwork. Naruto doesn't rely only on his strength he rely on what he can do and what he cannot do.

Please think before you post,everyone in naruto so far cant do anything on there own, they all get help from someone or something.

Naruto always behave like an idiot when he is with strong people, but when he is alone or when it's really matter he is like right now, a badass.

If its strategy you want, Naruto and Sasuke combined are still not on par with Kakashi in that term.

Invasion of Pein arc strategies( creating clones before hand, tendo defeat), battle with Neji. Figuring out sage mode was Obito Jin weakness. Decoy of Rasenshuriken clone during Pein fight, and so many more. Naruto is an awesome battle strategist.

fight against 3rd raikage to go sage mode to counter his speed and defense, asking 8tails for advise and then to come up with a plan is also counted as strategy. And the fight against kakuzu, he analyzed the situation perfectly to come up with something to hit him with his rasenshuriken too.

And answer for the one saying naruto get's carried by sasuke:

So yeah, naruto can come up with decent strategies. His sexy no jutsu did surprise them which made him hit kaguya in the end. So it did work, but wont work again. His ways of comming up with a strategy is just different and unpredictable but in the end it does work.
I'm not a naruto or sasuke fan that much, but anyone saying naruto can't come up with a strategy or is just too stupid or cant do anything without sasuke is the dumb person imo.
