Any programmers here? ^^

Well since I learned them in my major I haven't earned money with them yet, but now that the school year is over I like to hobby with them.

And I can imagine C# is tough, but compared to C and C++ it's very similar to Java so going from Java to C# was easy for me.
C and C++ are kind of tough for me, though, but I rarely use them.

As for other languages, I know HTML, CSS, Javascript and SQL. No PHP yet but I learned to use C# ASP.NET as an alternative.

Anything with a C is tough, but as you mentioned.. It's almost like Java, a bit different, but it's easier to learn, if you can JAVA already. However thanks for sharing your thoughts man! I am surprised that there are so many programmers here

Well I wish I had the time for it man. Right now I am really eager to start joining the RP. Then there is school in about twenty days.. Also my health condition is not good, at all. So I really don't know man. However there are many great websites out there. The only way I learned it was using Google and creating myself a goal. I wanted to be able to code games etc. I learned it. Because I really wanted to learn it.. Man I wish I had time.

I am currently an I.T major, and i have used Pascal, C++, Python, and Java. I am only proficient in C++ though. Maybe you could teach me a thing or two in the other languages.

I decided yesterday to not start coding again, but it was to late. My ideas for making a new Python based script, to automatically do things for me.. It's all ruined... Since someone else broke the code and he is doing it now.

- We can always talk in programming language in the RP, if we ever meet there ^^

I code for a living at a games making company.
I have recently lost all my interest in games, though, so I want to get a new job that does not involve games.

My languages of choice are C++ and Haskell.
I also know Erlang, QML, Python, C# (I loathe WPF though), some Java and some PHP.

Really? Sounds chill man. So I guess you're also working from home right? Or you have your own desk at the company? When I used to work for a game company, I worked from home. It was really chill. I just wrote my time when I got on and when I got out. My files were kept in their servers, so they could see if I was working or not.

Dream job? Man... It got boring in the end. All I was doing was sitting behind my desk and code.. All day long. I could not be at my parents because it was too noisy. You know childrens and stuff.. Being in my own apartment was like.. Being the only peron in the entire world. So boring. I was sitting there.. All day.. Programming.

- It's much better to work in a company which is crowded. You can make friends, hangout after work and chill. It's much better.
