Any Plausible Reasons as to why Kishi holds Itachi back?

We never got to see Itachi go all out w/ killing intent or some sort of handicap. The closest we got to seeing his potential was when he got rid of Nagato.

Also when he fodderized the infamous Orochimaru at the age of 11-13.

So why does Kishi hold Itachi back so much?

Cause Kishi likes to hold back characters that he could have made so OP... Itachi is hardly a good example considering Kishi made him pretty OP.

I would say Minato is a better example. For all his hype, all Kishi showed us of him was rasengan and FTG? Thats just wrong. He should have let us see a larger arsenal from Minato.

Thats the age it happened. You will never be able to estimate an anime's character's age by how they look, believe me.

Anyway op i agree, my boy was always restricted. What is worse is that he gets given the difficult tasks. Capturing your opponent is harder than killing them and the higher the opponent the more difficult this task becomes and kakashi said the same, in regards to akatsuki member's. Yet he prevails one way or another.

I do believe that though we havent seen the best of itachi, sasuke will be used as a medium to show more itachi's abilities similar to madara using mokuton and paying homage to hashirama as his ability, im certain that there would be abilities that sasuke will show and later pay homage to itachi as his ability

He joined Akatuski after the Uchiha Massacre because of his deal with Tobi. Orochimaru was defeated and left Akatuski shortly after Itachi joined.

We can also see that Kishi hardly cares for age/looks because Obito was 14 taking on Minato.

its been worked out quite long to go into it but in one of the parts it says Orochimaru left 10years ago itachi is like 21 when they say that 21 - 10 = 11.
